GivEnergy have now released their EV charger to the market.

We believe that this EV Charger will be a game changer for GivEnergy’s position in the marketplace.

For one thing, an EV charger is a visible piece of equipment – usually sitting at the front or to the side of a customer’s house. Whilst inverters or batteries might be important, they are usually hidden in lofts or garages. So, from a brand awareness perspective, this is transformational.

The GivEnergy EV charger acts as a solar diverter, placing it into the same segment of the market as the MyEnergi Zappi & the Indra Smart Pro charger.

Like the Zappi, the GivEnergy EV charger fits into an ecosystem of products designed from the ground up to integrate with each other. As such the EV charger is managed from a comprehensive web portal and mobile app.

The core GivEnergy range is a comprehensive set of inverters and batteries, with a solution suitable for every home and small business.

In the future therefore, we anticipate that customers will look across the market and be presented with 2 key choices:

1. Do I purchase discrete pieces of equipment from a variety of brands, which work independently of each other?
2. Do I decide to purchase a product that is part of a wider suite of products designed to integrate holistically and that serves me the data I need in one easy to use package?
