Here are some of the different priorities of our customers:

• Simplicity. Handle every aspect of reducing energy consumption around the home, from installing loft installation and low energy light bulbs through to setting them up with Octopus Energy for a time of use tariff.
• Energy monitoring. Allow detailed understanding of the energy consumption of the home, so that they can optimise their energy use.
• Scalable. Create a modular and scalable system that can grow over time, as and when more money is available to invest in home improvements.
• Saving money. Build a system that will save them money on their energy bills from day one and for years into the future.

Sandra and John Barry wanted a turn-key solution. They trusted Brimstone Energy to look after everything from loft insulation to setting them up with Octopus Energy – as well as install some high specification solar panels!

Here is what we don’t do: Build the cheapest possible system, using the cheapest possible components for the lowest possible price.

Because this does not offer value.

This kind of system will have a limited manufacturer warranty, with support offered in China (not the UK). It won’t be simple to use. It won’t integrate with your time of use tariff. It won’t have high fidelity energy monitoring capability. It won’t be scalable since compatible components probably won’t be available in a few years’ time.

And it certainly won’t save you time, stress or peace of mind.
